Ryan Burch Talks Newly Released Twin and 1+2 Asym Fin Sets
We are over-the moon to announce the release of the Ryan Burch Twin and Asym (Regular and Goofy). These are Ryan's tried and true templates - meticulously tinkered on through his board experimentation and surf travel. Ryan brought these to us and with a few foil tweaks and flex considerations, they are completely dialed.
The Burch Twin
A true all-around hybrid style twin, these fins designed by Ryan Burch are built for harnessing speed and drive, without sacrificing responsiveness and maneuverability. This twin offers the full ability to surf rail to rail and execute both tight radius turns in the pocket as well searing carves on a steep wave face. This template bridges the gap between a more upright high-aspect twin and a traditional larger profile keel, and subsequently draws on many of the biggest positive performance aspects from both. "...these fins are zippy, and fast, and free-feeling and will really get your board up to speed quickly." -R.B.

The 1+2 Asym Set: Regular and Goofy
The Ryan Burch Asym set should arguably be the go-to asym set on the planet earth. No one has messed with, tested, and dialed in the asym concept more than Ryan Burch. The toe side fin is from the Burch Twin. The heel side fins are Ryan's unique paddle concept - inspired by George Greenough's paddle fins and further influenced by Daniel "Tomo" Thompson's fin experimentation. The heel side fins have a stubby outline, but the cutaway trailing edge opens up the fin in transition and on rail. The compatibility of these three fins is unmatched. A frontside bottom turn will feel drivey, quick, and full of power - and the heel side will feel responsive, buttery, smooth, and loose. The name of the game here is keeping each rail engaged and each transition harmoniously balanced.
